2000

• SiamMandalay launches an IT department to custom develop a software application for business operations of it is export and distribution businesses.
• Giftware release 1.0 is launched.
  

2001

• SiamMandalay’s IT department is rebranded SMTechnologies to serve IT needs of businesses in Northern Thailand. Partnerships are established with ISP’s and media providers and the Internet Data Center opens for commercial business.
  

2002

• SMTechnologies opens for business in Bangkok, Thailand, to support corporate needs for software services.
• Giftware release 2.0 is launched at Mandalay Ltd. in Baltimore, MD.
  

2003

• With strong demand in the Bangkok market, SMTechnologies grows rapidly and establishes itself as a leading IT outsourcing provider of software engineering services.
• In June of 2003, CMM Level 2 is achieved in the Software Engineering department.
• In September 2003, Aware becomes a registered company.
• In October 2003, ISO 9001 : 2000 is achieved in the IT Services department.
• Commercial release of Giftware internationally.
  

2004

• With the expanded business and client base, SMTechnologies is separated from SiamMandalay and a new Software and IT Services company, Aware Corporation Ltd., is established. With offices in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Aware focuses on corporate IT needs in the areas of Software Engineering, Networking, IDC Hosting and Hardware.
  

2005

• Commercial release of EZInvoice for small business in Northern Thailand
• Commercial release of AOCS in Thailand.
  

2006

• Giftware wins TICTA award for Best Industrial Software in Thailand.
  

2007

• In October of 2007, Aware receives its ISP License.
  

2008

• Aware establishes data center presences in Singapore and the United States
• Aware becomes a Microsoft Gold Partner
• Aware becomes an Oracle Certified Partner
• Aware becomes certified Barracuda Partner
• Aware receives 2008 IBM Star Reseller Award
• Aware celebrates its 5 year anniversary
  

2009

• Aware becomes Avast! International Partner/Reseller
