The Education Center at Mae Fah Luang, Baan Mae Pok Bon School in A. Doitao, Chiang Mai

Aware and SiamMandalay staff organize an annual social and charity activity, Charity Day.  This year we decided to donate our efforts to Baan Mae Pok Bon School in A. Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai.

It took approximately 10 hours round-trip to get to the school. The road is very narrow and rough – it was like a wild adventure ride! The school is located on the top of a mountain in a remote area that is very difficult to reach. The teachers and children were happy when having a tasty lunch brought by us and receiving items donated by us and our partners. After lunch, the kids performed wonderful shows to thank us for coming.

This year was very special as Aware sponsored five of our Bangkok staff who joined us for this great experience with the Chiang Mai team. We all had a great time doing a good deed together. We would like to thank all the people who donated money, items, and time to our Charity Day this year.  Special thanks goes out to our friends at Infinity Global Packaging in the USA. Their generous donation was put to very good use in helping the children of Baan Mae Pok Bon.
