The connected living room is an exciting place; streaming movies and catch up TV, media servers, Wi-Fi-enabled audio, and online gaming require speed. We all want more speed and Samsung is going to deliver. Their new Wi-Fi standard is 5 times the current standard speed, allowing you to transfer a 1Gb movie between devices in less than three seconds, and stream uncompressed HD movies in real time.

The new technology could be integrated into TV’s, home appliances and medical equipment as early as next year, and It would be sensible to assume that Samsung will also integrate the tech into their smartphones and tablets in the future.
