Additional Travel Policy guidelines for Aware Group in Response to COVID-19

In light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation in Thailand, and to better manage the potential risk of employees carrying the COVID-19 virus to other locations, effective immediately as recommended by the Department of Disease Control today, March 22, we would like to update Aware Group’s travel policy in response to COVID-19 as follows:
Effective today, March 22, 2020:
Additional travel policy guidelines for Aware Group employees located in Chiang Mai
- Employees must defer all work-related travel plans until further notice.
- All employees are highly encouraged to not travel outside Chiang Mai whether for work-related or non-work-related reasons.
- Employees who are under home self-quarantine must not leave their city for any non-essential reason, whether work-related or non-work related.
- Any employees who must travel outside of Chiang Mai for an essential personal reason (medical assistance, family emergencies, etc.) must inform their supervisor and HR and must then self-quarantine at home for 14 days upon return to Chiang Mai before returning to the office.
- Heads of Departments and Managers must report to HR if they learn of any of their staff traveling outside of Chiang Mai for any reason.

General Precautions for Aware Group employees in other locations outside Thailand
1. Aware Group employees outside Thailand should closely monitor, observe, and strictly follow government regulations and recommendations in their own cities/countries.
