The Challenge
Before engaging with Aware, LOTTE company encountered challenges with their Front End Application system for the car rental business. This system was unable to operate efficiently, and the maintenance services from the previous provider fell short of expectations.
As a result, LOTTE had to find new solutions better aligned with their business needs. Drawing on their extensive experience with Aware’s services, LOTTE trusted Aware to understand their requirements fully. They believed that we could address all their needs, including application development, hardware systems, networks, IT support, and related services. Consequently, LOTTE chose to entrust us with the responsibility of developing and managing their new system.
What did Aware do
After understanding LOTTE’s problems and requirements, Aware proposed the SAP B1 Add On for Long Term Rental solution, specifically designed to serve the car rental business, to replace the existing Front End Application with its limitations.
The implementation of Aware’s SAP B1 Add On for Long Term Rental system to replace the old system enabled LOTTE to conduct business comprehensively and completely within a single system – from creating quotations, contract preparation, billing and collection, to maintaining vehicle repair and maintenance history. This solution eliminated the need for interfaces between multiple systems while reducing costs for maintaining various work systems.
A key advantage of the SAP B1 Add On is its flexibility for additional development. Aware can continuously support and develop the system to accommodate LOTTE’s new requirements, including integration with other applications, which was a limitation of the previous system.
